Pack 24: Resources

-

Arrow of Light is the fifth-grade, capstone level of Cub Scouting and the program that prepares Scouts to bridge into Scouts BSA. As of the 2024 program update, it's a stand-alone rank with its own requirements, separate from Webelos. To earn the Arrow of Light badge, a Scout must complete six required adventures with their den or family, plus any two elective adventures of their den or family's choosing:
Required Adventures
-
Bobcat (designed to be completed first)
-
Outdoor Adventurer
-
Personal Fitness
-
Citizenship
-
First Aid
-
Duty to God
Elective Adventures — there are 16 Arrow of Light-specific electives to choose from, covering topics like knife safety, engineering, cycling, and swimming.
As the Scout completes each adventure, they receive the adventure loop for that adventure to wear on their belt. Once all six required adventures and two electives are complete, they've earned the Arrow of Light badge — the highest honor in Cub Scouting — at a special crossover ceremony as they bridge into a Scouts BSA troop.
Scout Handbooks
The scout handbooks provided here are older and need to be combined with the addendum to get the current requirements.
We encourage all scouts to purchase a hard copy of the handbook for their specific rank.
