Webelos is the fourth-grade level of Cub Scouting. As of the 2024 program update, Webelos and Arrow of Light are separate programs with their own requirements — Webelos no longer shares adventures with 5th-grade Arrow of Light. To earn the Webelos badge, a Scout must complete six required adventures with their den or family, plus any two elective adventures of their den or family's choosing:

• Bobcat (designed to be completed first)

• Webelos Walkabout

• Stronger, Faster, Higher

• My Community

• My Safety

• My Family

Elective Adventures — there are 20 Webelos-specific electives to choose from, covering topics like camping, cooking (Chef's Knife), STEM, and outdoor skills.

As the Scout completes each adventure, they receive the adventure loop for that adventure to wear on their belt. Once all six required adventures and two electives are complete, they've earned the Webelos badge.

Webelos may go on pack or den campouts with a BALOO-trained leader, and this year builds the outdoor and leadership skills that prepare them for Arrow of Light and, eventually, Scouts BSA.
