Pack 24: Resources

The Tiger rank is for boys and girls who are in first grade or are age 7. To earn the Tiger badge, a Scout must complete six required adventures with their den or family, plus any two elective adventures of their den or family's choosing:

Required Adventures

  • Bobcat (designed to be completed first)

  • Team Tiger

  • Tiger Circles

  • Tigers in the Wild

  • Tiger Bites

  • Tiger Roar

Elective Adventures — Tigers can choose any two from a wide range of electives covering topics like camping, fishing, cycling, arts, and outdoor skills.

As the Scout completes each adventure, they receive the adventure loop for that adventure to wear on their belt. Once all six required adventures and two electives are complete, they've earned the Tiger badge — traditionally presented to the adult partner at a pack meeting, who then gives it to the Scout in a special ceremony.

After earning the badge, a Tiger Scout can keep going and complete additional elective adventures for the rest of the year, earning an extra adventure loop for each one — a great way to explore new hobbies and skills before moving up to Wolf.

Scout Handbooks

The scout handbooks provided here are older and need to be combined with the addendum to get the current requirements.

We encourage all scouts to purchase a hard copy of the handbook for their specific rank.
